Audience Engagement Research - Lords of Dogtown

The target audience of this film as both films involves the progression and freedom of an extreme sport. 'The Lords of Dogtown' conveys the message to have fun with your friends and make the most out of life while you can because you will not be together forever. In the same way, time is limited and it should be spent doing what you love and find a passion for yourself and pursue it with max effort. This is why this and my film are similar, both include crazy stunts and give prime examples of overcoming fears. This film gained attention and popularity through online social media, Zephyr Surfboards, a company that was present in the film and has a large client list, Surfer Magazine, which also attracts attention from many young athletes, and the LA Times, it mentioned the death of one of the stars which directed informees to the film. I would like to embed the aspects of finding popular brands in my film's niche and find a way to gain some viewers.
